Glenda's Testimony

Being raised in church by my wonderful parents was always something that I thanked God for. I don't think I would be where I am today, if it wasn't for them. Through my life, I have seen people receive their healing and having a lot of faith. I have never doubted the power of God. Who knew that I would soon be receiving my miracle?

About the year 2000, I started having pains in my side, sharp pains, through to my back. This was off and on for 5 years. In March of 2005, the pain was consistent, there was very little relief. I had 6 doctors on my case. I had went back and forth to different doctors. They had done test after test. There was one test that showed my Gall Bladder was working only 8%, and it needed to work at least 50%. When they took my Gall Bladder out, the doctor gave it a 70% chance that this would fix the problem, I was willing to try. All the surgery did was make the pain worse. It had got to the point that I could only stand for about 10 minutes. I was just about ready to give up everything because the pain was so bad, and I felt that I just couldn't go on. The pain medication that I was on wasn't helping, and they had over medicated me to where I wasn't thinking straight. The pain patches seemed to help some. I had to put medical tape on to keep the patch on, but when I would take the patch off, the tape would rip parts of my skin off. It was so painful.

In May of 2005, Matt (my brother in law) said that we were going to have a prayer meeting in my house that night, a few of my family members had gathered including my aunt, Nina Wallace, she read some beautiful scriptures from the bible, then we started to pray. I didn't feel any warmth of healing, but I did feel peace, so I was stronger in my spirit. I now felt that I could deal with my sickness if that's what God wanted me to do. After we prayed, Aunt Nina came over to me, where I was reclined in my recliner and said, "Hallelujah" and she expected me to say it back to her, I couldn't do it. She said, "No?" I said "No". She did it the second time, she said "No"? I said "No". The third time she said "Hallelujah", and with everything I had in me, I said "Hallelujah" as loud as I could, an anger came over me that satan had took so much of my time away from God, my family, the group, and work. I got out of my recliner and told Misti, my youngest daughter, to open the door. We ran satan out of my house that night, when I took a stand and told him he wasn't going to take any more of my life away from me, I received my healing, Praise God!!!

I thank God everyday for my miracle, He is so good to me.

Tony's Testimony

I was born in Dallas, Texas in 1944. I learned to play the guitar at twelve years old. By the time I was fourteen years old I had started traveling with different blues bands during the summer while I was out of school. I would have to be back in time for school. I went to play in cities such as Dallas, Chicago, and Memphis. The devil had put anything and everything out there for me. Booze, women, and all of the bad habits you could think of were all mine for the taking. I saw people shot off of bar stools during gun fights. I saw people cheating on each other with someone other than who they were married to. I saw the down and out of people spending their last dollar for a chance to have a drunker thrill with someone. I really wish I could tell all the people who live that kind of life today what I know about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That He could really help them. I was still playing in the clubs until 1966 to 1968 when I was drafted into the army and sent to Vietnam. When I got home in 1968 I continued my musical career until 1992. I was under heavy conviction. I fought it for a while until the Lord just out right told me to get into church. I have been a Christian since February 15, 1993. I still continue my guitar work for the Lord. I thank God for pulling me up out of that nasty life I once lived and for putting me in my church doing His work in today's world. I've been playing for the Wallace Family for 10 years. I am married to Glenda who is one of the lead singers for the group. Our marriage has been wonderful. We continue to travel and minister for the Lord and will do so until the Lord comes back, or we are called home to be with Him forever in Heaven. Praise God!!! I thank Him for my pastors Brother and Sister Ishmael of the Freedom Church of God in Emory, TX. They have both been such a blessing to me. I will always love them both as well as my church. I also thank God for choosing me as one of His vessels to use here in the world today. He already knew way back then what He was going to do with me today. I give God all of the glory FOREVER AND EVER!!!

The Wallace Family

*Update on Tony Murray-by Matt Miller

Tony was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer, he had experienced pain on the right side of his lower back for quite some time, and after several tests, surgery was performed on May 8, 2006.  After the procedure, the doctor told Tony, Glenda, the family and their pastor that there was no good news whatsoever.  The doctor told Glenda after the surgery, that he had never seen such a large malignant tumor such as this was.  Tony went home and waited for his return appointment on May 12th.  The night before his appointment, Tony had a one-on-one with God in the darkness of his bedroom.  He spoke to God, he says, just like we would talk to one another.  He said 'God, I know you are so much bigger than this cancer is, and I do not want to leave my wife and family, or our ministry."   In the darkness of the bedroom, Tony began to see lights flash all over the ceiling.  The next day at his follow-up appointment, the doctor entered the room with a big smile and said,          'Mr. Murrary, I have a great pathology report for you."  He then told Tony and Glenda that there was no cancer remaining in Tony's bladder, and he could not explain how the cancer had not grown through the bladder wall and spread all over his body. Tony told the doctor he knew what had happened, and that Jesus Christ had healed him.  Keven Wallace, the girl's brother, says the light flashing on the ceiling the night before was God giving Tony his own chemo and radiation.  What an awesome touch of the Master's strong hand!

Matt's Testimony

I am Matt Miller, and I have the honor, joy and privilege for playing the keyboard and singing with the Wallace Family. I started singing with my parents, Thomas and Ann Miller when I was around nine years old. About that same time I started learning to play the piano and by twelve or thirteen I had my own style. While singing with my parents we were known as, of course, the Miller Family. Our logo or theme was Singing for Jesus. We made several homemade tapes and usually gave them away for free or sometimes received donations. We sang most of the time with just the piano. I used to be told I got my voice from my mom. Later in my teen years I went with a group called The Glory Time Singers. We were together for a while before I went back to singing with my parents until my dads health started failing. In my early twenties I lost sight of my goal to sing and minister for Jesus and started singing country. I sang at oprys all over Texas and Arkansas for a couple of years. I made one tape/cd but I never seemed to have the desire to get it past the studio. I made several more copies for family and friends to listen to but never had it produced. The more I sang country the more miserable I became. I knew in my heart what I was supposed to be doing, and it wasn't singing worldly music. I dedicated my life back to singing for Jesus and in October of 1989 I started playing keys for the Trinity River Boys. I was with TRB for one year and traveled all over. We would leave after work on Fridays and get back late Sunday night or early Monday morning just in time to go to work. I continued to work in the Pentecostal COG in Greenville, Texas for the next twelve years. I was the piano player and tenor singer for a group called The Messengers that still works out of the church. During those years I gained custody of my two children, Reeba then 4, now 14 and Preston then 1 1/2, now 13. Wow, how time flies. But hold on, the best is about to come. In June 1998, on father's day, I decided after almost six years of being alone, and constantly declaring I would never remarry or even date, I called Sandra, who was known at the time as Sandra Wallace Parish, whom I had sang at different concerts with over the years and had always thought about on many occasions. The next week I sat beside this beautiful angel from Heaven at church and eighteen days later asked her to marry me. Thank the Lord she said yes. We married on September 4th of 1998. Sandra Wallace Miller is my greatest most precious gift from God besides my salvation. I would not want to, or even consider, living one day without my beautiful angel. I am honored to be able to sing with my wife and family.

Now as part of the Wallace Family, I sing some lead and some high tenor. My angel sings the high, high tenor and controls the drum machine (we call Alex). The lead and alto parts are sang by Glenda Wallace Murray. Who also does a lot of our speaking out on the road. She's been known to preach a bit too, so when the Spirit falls, WATCH OUT!! The Wallace Family is honored to have the best of the best blues guitarists in the world. His name is Tony Murray. He adds a combination of Southern Gospel and Blues to make an awesome sound for our music. Our oldest daughter Jennifer Peterson aka (Brat) sings with us on occasion when she is able to go. I play the keys and sing lead and tenor or alto. God has blessed me with my original songs which we sing while out on the road. As we continue out ministry through music, we pray that we'll be able to go further out in all directions and different states to spread the gospel through song.

All of our family attends the Freedom Church of God in Emory, Texas, when we are not on the road. We have tremendous support from our church family and miss them when we are not there.

May God richly bless you all and keep you in the palm of His hand. Please keep the Wallace Family in your prayers daily as we go forward to do the will of God.

God Bless.

Sandra's Testimony

My name is Sandra Wallace Miller. I am Matt's wife and Harold & Naomi Wallace's oldest daughter. I was raised in a very happy, wonderful, Christian home. I adore my Dad & Mom & want to always follow in their precious footsteps. I am so thankful to them for raising me like they did. I love them so much. I have one sister - Glenda Murray & one brother - Kevin Wallace - They are both happily married with beautiful children.

Almost seven years ago Matt & I were married after a short whirlwind engagement. Even for a few years before we were married, I knew he was the man for me. We were both in singing groups & on occasion, would sing at the same place. Every time I saw him my heart would skip a beat! I kept telling all my family - "I sure do love him!" & I meant it, but they just laughed at me. He used to sing with several different groups one of which was The Messengers. They had made a tape & Matt sang & played keyboard on it. About one year before we got together I got to where I would listen to my honey sing "I Know A Man Who Can " & I would pray for God to give him to me. I just knew down deep in my heart that he was, and is,- my soul mate. Now we are fixing to celebrate our 7th anniversary it doesn't seem possible. God has given me my precious treasure straight from Heaven above & I am so thankful.

We have four beautiful children, Jennifer 24, John 22, (who has a precious new little wife who we adore-Pam) Reeba 15, & Preston 13. Guess what else we have!-The two most gorgeous red headed grandbabies in the world! Nole 4 & Macie 3, these are Jennifer's babies. Wow, if I had only know grandbabies were so fun, I would have had them first!

I am so thankful for all of my family, but oh so thankful that God has blessed us with a family singing group so that we can spread His word in song, testimony, & music with our very talented musicians. We love traveling & singing, it's our whole life. I'm so thankful that God is opening so many new doors for us, it's what we've always prayed for, see, He says He gives us the desires of our heart & He has done just that! We want to be so busy that we will all have to go full time on the road, "Singing for Jesus!" I truly believe that one day soon this will happen for us & when it does we'll all be ready to go anywhere He leads. Please keep "The Wallace Family" in your prayers.

God Bless & keep you in the palm of His hands

Sandra Miller
